If you hire ten contractors to work for a day each, and they all work on
the same day, do you only pay for one, because they all worked in parallel?
If 12 people spend ten minutes on your silly ideas, that's two person hours
of time spent on it. Nobody cares about the wall time it takes, the point
is the human effort wasted reviewing this nonsense.
You were politely asked to respect people's time and effort and not treat a
finite resource as expendable for your own "art" or enjoyment. Dismissing
that request with absurd comparisons to a sci-fi film (no matter that it's
a good film) is insulting. Stop it.
