I generally like the idea of seeking to discover what students know and do not know in creative ways that make students look objectively at their respective knowledge base. It is an approach I tend to follow when trying to learn something new. I pick the smallest book / article that I can find (from an authoritative source) that aims to provide a big picture overview of the topic and I write down what I didn't know before reading the material. The points that I write down become my areas for deep-dive. Is there any chance that Bjarne's document that was referenced will be shared in this group? //DM On February 6, 2020 at 3:36 PM, sg20-request_at_[hidden] wrote: Send SG20 mailing list submissions to      sg20_at_[hidden] To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit        https://lists.isocpp.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/sg20 or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to    sg20-request_at_[hidden] You can reach the person managing the list at    sg20-owner_at_[hidden] When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of SG20 digest..."
