Pal I want to make it clear that the name I have was some weird teenage nonsense from years ago but I’m changing it now and it doesn’t detract from my point. If I’m not a real person then who you think I am?

It’s dangerous yes but explicitly casting back just adds more keystrokes and is costly for ease of development. It doesnt inherently make it safe and the CPU doesn’t care.
