Hi all,

A long while back (~1 year ago) I started the process of submitting a
proposal for adding first() and last() to std::string and std::string_view,
but nothing much came of it after an initial review.
I wanted to ask what the next steps should be to pursue this paper further.

I see that there's a Github issue for it:
https://github.com/cplusplus/papers/issues/1937 which I wasn't aware of,
and I'm not sure how to continue this process, which I'd very much like to
do.
