I have to admit I just glanced over the proposal. You have not mentioned, what disadvantage having both a fundamental and a library type have? -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von:Jan Schultke via Std-Proposals <std-proposals_at_[hidden]> Gesendet:Fr 14.03.2025 07:11 Betreff:Re: [std-proposals] Random numbers in identical builds An:std-proposals_at_[hidden]; CC:Jan Schultke <janschultke_at_[hidden]>; > 128-bit integer type? Yes, should be coming with C's _BitInt(N). I'm taking the first steps towards getting that into C++ btw. https://isocpp.org/files/papers/P3639R0.html I've also made a proposal for 128-bit integers before, but I think it's just not high-consensus enough and I at least want to test the waters for _BitInt first. -- Std-Proposals mailing list Std-Proposals_at_[hidden] https://lists.isocpp.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/std-proposals
