Hours.

If 12 people take 10 minutes to review what you're writing, understand it, and
maybe write a thoughtful reply, that's 2 hours of cumulative time.

Make sure you're making good use of them. Since everyone here is a volunteer,
you're spending your goodwill capital every time you do. A thoughtful and
well-thought-out proposal increases your goodwill and will make people more
eager to review what novel idea you've had and how they could benefit from it.
A proposal that you clearly didn't spend enough time on trying to figure out if
it's useful, what problems it solves, or even if it is possible (compilers
don't do magic) wastes goodwill and will make people less eager to read what
you post, less willing to give you a portion of their limited time, to the
point where they may simply ignore what you post.

So please take the time first, in particular to prove it is possible at all.
