Thanks for asking about SGs Ben,

There will be no face-to-face meetings of WG21 or any of its subgroups through at least the end of 2020.

ISO and INCITS (WG21’s relevant U.S. standards body) have banned f2f meetings through at least September 30 and December 31 respectively. This precludes f2f meetings of WG21 or any of its subgroups in 2020, both because we hold co-located ISO/INCITS meetings, and because any WG21 or WG21 subgroup meetings in 2020 (including CppCon in Denver) would have been held in the United States and so are precluded by the United States’ ban on f2f standards meetings.

Subject: [SG14] CppCon Meeting?

In recent years, we've had an in-person meeting at CppCon. I realize that we're a few months out, but are there plans to do that again this year, given COVID-19? Do we even have the option of doing it, since INCITS has now cancelled face-to-face meetings through September?

Thanks,
Ben S.
