Papers of mine this mailing which SG14 members may have particular
interest in:
- P2052 "Making modern C++ i/o a consistent API experience from bottom
to top"
This paper proposes fully deterministic asynchronous i/o. Which is huge
for SG14 type folk, if the committee accepts the proposal.
- P1883 "file_handle and mapped_file_handle"
This proposal self describes. Both types allocate no memory, throw no
exceptions, claim no locks, and are as deterministic as is possible.
- P1028 "SG14 status_code and standard error object"
Little new in this for SG14 members.
- P1029 "move = bitcopies"
Makes move-only types as ABI-efficient as trivially copyable types.
I *may* make the mailing deadline with a deterministic signal handling
paper, but I might not. It will be P2069 if it makes it.
