Did you read the assembly?
Because when I tried by pasting into Godbolt, it discarded a lot of checks and
ended up with a loop storing a constant to that volatile.
And again, please stop replying to yourself within a few minutes. Instead,
wait a few minutes before sending so you get your ideas together.
