Thinking of more cases, we can move the object, call the destructor, use std::destroy_at or just do nothing until it end, so changing lifetimes is not necessary and it will introduce trouble in managing a object.

If this is not your main intent, I would just focus on the releasing the identifier and not mess with lifetime at the same time; or mention that as option in your proposal paper.
In wjf's proposal, the feature releases the identifier with ending the lifetime, while in the conversation I realized the initial feature has insufficient in certain ways.
The feature just have unsuitable bound behaviors when releasing the identifier, so dropping the changing of lifetimes is better in future proposals.
We can focus on the identifier from now on.
