There are frequently mentoring systems available.  I am not sure how to get in them.

Also at the ISO meetings (typically at an evening SG sessions) there are incubator sessions where you can explain your proposal and they will suggest ideas. This can typically be done remotely.  The next full ISOCPP meeting is in Kona in November.  I don't think I will be onsite for that meeting. The hotel was way too expensive.

There were no comments. I'm not sure how to interpret that or how a
proposal becomes accepted. I assumed a proposal is better when it can
be used as a building block rather than a large complete system? Do I
need to find a committee member who's interested in getting my
proposal accepted? Is the proposal too small? I'm not sure what next
steps I should take
