I think it was a half-joke... if you're translating keywords, you should
also translate escape sequences, e.g. by applying (reverse)
transliterating on "\n". 'n' is mapped to н [1], hence, use "\н" for a
newline.

But then: "newline" in Russian is translated as "Подача на строку" or
"Перевод на строку", so you actually want '\п'? :-P
