P2760 (A Plan for C++26 Ranges) lists views::trim as a Tier 2 range
adaptor to port from range-v3. I’d like to propose it, along with a
views::trim_if companion following the remove/remove_if naming. I
couldn’t find an existing paper. Is anyone already working on this?

If not, I'm planning to write it up; I have a draft and a reference
implementation with tests. Mainly I wanted to check I'm not
duplicating anyone's work before I ask for a P number.
