And temptation for advantages is not a new concept in our generation of humanity: - There are people in roles, forbidden to look at GPL-licensed code - When writing a PhD, you may not receive help and have to cite all your sources - If you receive money and have a conflict of interest, in many contexts you have to state it to avoid corruption, even if you have an advantage out of it
