I read my poetry at Open MIC nights, and I go there looking for human
connection, and to get a glimpse into another person's personal variety on
the human condition. To feel for a moment what another person is feeling.
I'd be dismayed if a person showed up to a poetry meet reading something
composed by ChatGPT, it would ruin the night for me.

But this mailing list is very different from a poetry meet. We're here for
technical discussion. No flowers, no candles, no soft lighting. If a good
idea is presented on this mailing list, I don't care if it came from a
black person, or a war veteran, or an olympic swimmer, or a diabetic, or a
person who's morning the death of their mother. I don't care. Don't look a
gift horse in the mouth -- a good idea is a good idea.

If someone feeds input into ChatGPT and ends up getting pure gold to
present here on the mailing list, then I don't care where they got the idea
from.
