Hubert's first question about whether it should be possible to query whether we're in a transaction has not yet been addressed.
Mike Spear: The question was discussed in 2016.
AI: Hans to respond To Hubert.
Brief discussion of "ill-formed no diagnostic required" vs "undefined behaviour".
Mike Spear: A student is starting to investigate clang front-end changes required for the TS. Brief discussion about whether break and continue should be allowed to exit a transaction. Consensus: yes.
Brief discussion of Intel and ARM support for TM. Nobody was aware of any decision by Intel (or others) to drop support. The recent addition of TSXLDTRK instructions suggests otherwise.
