As a result of a Zoom attack during the INCITS/C++ meeting yesterday, I have made some changes to the settings for the Zoom meeting used to host SG16 meetings.

• The password has been changed.
• The waiting room has now been enabled. Only recognized participants will be allowed to join.

I updated the meeting event in the shared calendar with a new meeting link (with the new password embedded). Those of you that subscribe to the calendar may need to resynchronize your calendars. Those of you that have previously imported a .ics file will need to import a new one. Let me know if you need assistance with doing so.

I will communicate the new password on Mattermost.

As far as I know, Zoom does not allow prospective participants to change their Zoom display name while in the waiting room. Please ensure that your default Zoom display name suffices for me to recognize you before joining.

The attack yesterday was extremely offensive. My condolences to John Spicer (chaired of the meeting) and all the attendees that witnessed it.
