We're going to take an initial look at some new papers proposing Unicode facilities for the Standard Library in a Library Evolution evening session on 2023-02-07 at 19:30 to 21:30 UTC-8.
We'll be looking at:
P2728 Unicode in the Library, Part 1: UTF Transcoding
P2729 Unicode in the Library, Part 2: Normalization
P2727 std::iterator_interface (prerequisite of other papers)
Our goals in reviewing these papers are to:
0) Identify library design questions and provide early library design feedback
1) Familiarize Library Evolution with Unicode processing
We will not be making decisions at this session.
