Meeting events for SG16 for 2026 have been added to the WG21 shared
calendar. <https://documents.isocpp.org/index.php/apps/calendar> As
usual, we'll continue to meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
at 19:30 UTC so long as those dates don't conflict with a major holiday
or in-person meeting. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed to
complete proposal or issue reviews ahead of in-person meetings.
Two event series were created (due to calendar scheduling limitations).
I chose to trust the calendar scheduler to properly handle time zones
and daylight savings time this year and scheduled all meetings for UTC.
In the past, I've scheduled multiple series with manual handling of
daylight savings time to avoid buggy calendar software. Please let me
know if SG16 events don't show up for your correct local time.
For those needing .ics files to import into your local calendar, you can
obtain them individually for each event in the WG21 shared calendar or
you can download .ics files containing the entire series for each of the
event series from the WG21 calendar mailing list archives here
<https://lists.isocpp.org/calendar/2026/01/0184.php> and here
<https://lists.isocpp.org/calendar/2026/01/0185.php> (you'll need the
password for mail archives; message me if you need help with that).
Those series contain some events that I subsequently deleted due to
holidays or in-person meetings, so you'll probably want to delete those
occurrences manually (03-25, 06-10, 11-25).
Zoom links in the calendar events embed the meeting password, so please
don't publish the events anywhere public.
I updated the SG16 channel header in Mattermost to contain the Zoom link
with embedded password. Hopefully that will be helpful to those of you
who aren't able to subscribe to the WG21 shared calendar.
