I would like to request the following change:

Hubert observed that there is a difference between writing \u0300 and the
actual U+0300 character resulting from translation phase 1.

[ Editor's note: Hubert clarified after the call that he was speaking to a
need to consider the user expectations in both cases. The conversation got
away before this point could be clarified. ]
