For the benefit of those who are newer: See SD-4 “Consensus” for what it is and isn’t.

The current consensus contents of C++26 is everything that’s in the CD, and a major goal of the CD phase is to increase consensus (including via bug fixes).

We also have sustained objections, which we never ignore and per SD-4 are definitely in-scope to escalate one more time in this CD period, and so we will discuss those concerns again thoroughly in Kona and check again whether keeping or removing contracts in C++26 will increase consensus.

Because contracts is an important topic, we’re scheduling it for the first two days (Monday and Tuesday) – if you care about this, be sure to attend EWG in person or remotely via Zoom!
