Note that as mentioned on this mailing list before, the P3568 has already been approved by EWG, and is currently in CWG. That is, the design is approved, and the paper is in the wording stage.

The goal at this point is to ensure that the C++ design exactly matches the C design of N3355 and N3658. The former paper is in the C2y working draft, and the latter paper has a strong encouragement, but is not in the C2y draft yet.

The second paper (P4040R1) has not been seen by any group yet.
