Thanks for sharing this, Corentin! Once the draft hits a mailing, I'll
be sure to add it to the SG22 queue.

Assuming the paper receives favorable feedback in SG22, I strongly
recommend this because diverging the preprocessor between C and C++
can be a really large implementation burden.
